Alan Maher
Owner & Project Manager
With over 12 years of combined experience in the design and construction industry, Alan began his career working as a Civil Engineer in 2011. His work as a Civil Engineer included site design and permitting services for projects across all market sectors. In October of 2020, Alan made the transition to the construction industry where he began working as a Project Manager. Alan’s knowledge of the design and permitting process from his time as a Professional Engineer provided a solid foundation to his construction Project Management career, and it has provided him with the ability to help clients work through the design process quickly and efficiently.
Alan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin where he was also a member of the Swimming & Diving Team. Alan was a team captain for the 2010 National Championship team.
Aaron Maher
Owner & Superintendent
With over 5 years of experience in the construction industry, Aaron began his career working as a Project Engineer in 2018 where he was quickly promoted to Assistant Project Manager. His work as a PE and APM included several large projects in the multi-family and education market sectors. After working in the office on the Project Management track for 3 years, Aaron transitioned to an onsite role as a Super Intendent in 2021. Aaron’s background and knowledge of Project Management has provided him with a unique skillset which allows him to work directly with clients and subcontractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
Aaron holds a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from East Tennessee State University where he was also a member of the Baseball Team. Aaron was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2016 MLB Draft.

Our History
Maher Brothers Construction was founded in the summer of 2023 by Alan and Aaron Maher. With a combined 15 years of experience in the design and construction industry, Alan and Aaron decided to fulfill their lifelong dream of owning and operating a company together. They are committed to nurturing existing relationships and building new ones with the goal of becoming the go-to contractor for developers in Middle Tennessee.
